Violet

Violet, also known as the Psy-ren, is a playable character in Borderlands V. She is Borderlands V's Melee weapons specialist, which coupled with her numerous skills that grant her healing upon scoring a kill, makes her most effective when in the thick of combat.

Skills 

Skill Trees:

• Butcher - focuses on increasing her proficiency with melee weapons and her overall survivability.
• Daredevil - focuses on greatly improving her action skills and rewarding daring and risky moves.
• Maelstrom - transforms Violet into a force of nature, allowing her to utilize elements(particularly shock)to a greater effect.

Action skill: 

Violet has 6 separate action skills, with two corresponding to each 3 of her skill trees. She can have 2 action skills at a time

Butcher

• Frenzy - Upon activation, Violet receives 30% increased speed, takes halved damage, and attacks with a melee weapon swing 50% faster.
• Blood Wave - Violet swings her buzzaxe and sends out a horizonal wave that pierces through enemies and deals heavy damage. Each enemy killed by Blood Wave reduces it's cooldown a little and heals Violet by a small amount

Daredevil

• Critical Velocity - Violet gains a large speed boost and a boost to her critical hit damage. Killing an enemy during Critical velocity further increases the speed, critical hit damage and extends the duration slightly.
• Smackdown - Violet leaps a short distance forward and strikes the ground, dealing heavy damage in a wide cone in front of her.

Maelstrom

• PhaseStorm - Upon activation, Violet gains an electric aura that deals constant shock damage to all enemies inside of it.
• ChainPhase - Violet chucks an elemental bolt that homes in on enemies, and chains to a maximum of 3 total targets.
