Titan

Titan is a weapons' manufacturer in Borderlands V, whose defining aesthetics are rugged, heavy duty and industrial. Their weapons feature laser, explosive and conventional projectiles, along with drill like bayonets.

Lore

In universe, Titan is a massive mining corporation, known for literally tearing apart the crusts of entire planets to harvest any and all valuable minerals. Many of their laser, explosive and drill weapons were originally designed to be mining tool for breaking apart rock, but have proven to also be effective against flesh and armor.

Attributes

Their weapons boast high damage, rivaling that of Torgue gear. Most of their gear also grants a defensive boost in the form of flat damage resistance.

As a downside, most Titan gear reduces the user's movement speed when active. The amount of movement speed reduction is based on the weapon type, and can range from minuscule to nonexistent for pistols, medium for shields, melee and shotguns, to reducing it to a crawl for Rocket Launchers.

Some of their weapons feature a drill bayonet, that takes some time to rev up but deals high, constant damage when the alt fire button is held down.
