The Jolter is a legendary pistol manufactured by Torgue that appears in Borderlands V. The Jolter can be obtained randomly from any loot source, but has an increased chance to drop from The Heretic. It can also be sold by Butch on Eden-6.

BIG ASS BULLETS!!!– Increased magazine capacity. Greatly increased damage. Consumes 2 ammo per shot. Slower projectile velocity.
Usage & Description[]
The Jolter has damage on par with heavy Torgue rifles, but consumes pistol ammo and can thus be used more regularly. The slower projectile speed means you have to aim where your targets are going to be, instead of where they are.

- Prior to the Tools of the Trade Patch, the jolter dealt less damage but had higher projectile speed.

- This weapon's name is a reference to the Bolters from Warhammer 40k. It may also be a reference to the Borderlands youtuber Joltzdude139
